The quizzes are only open to residents of the UK.
WINNERS
Prizes must be claimed within 7 days. Once a week an email with that weeks daily
winners will be sent out – winners must confirm their address and details within
7 days of winning. Prizes unclaimed will be put back in the prize pool.
- The games are free to enter and each consist of 40 questions. All scores are amalgamated
into a single high score list. The winner will be the the player with the winning
positon of that day as shown in the daily leaderboard.
- The winners of the prize draws are determined by a random selection process carried
out by our sponsors.
- Only one entry into each draw is allowed per person is allowed no matter how many
times you enter.
- At least one winner per day will be announced shortly after the stated time on the
website. The winner will be the the player with the winning positon of that day
as shown in the daily leaderboard.
- Terms and conditions for the individual prize draws are available on the entry pages.
- Some of the prizes on our site may also be available on other Internet sites.
- Offerx Ltd reserves the right to change these conditions at any time and without
notice.
- Images of the prizes may differ to the actual prize.
We reserve the right to disallow any leaderboard winners who are adjudged to be
entering under more than one registration.
LEADERBOARD
- Each player is restricted to one position on the leaderboard, this entry will be
their highest score.
- Where players have the same score on the leaderboard, their position will be decided
by the total time taken to answer the questions (only the time on the questions
page is taken into account). In the event that two or more players achieve the same
score in the same time, their position will be in order of when they achieved that
score (earliest first). If there still remains two or more players with identical
scores, I'll eat my hat.
- Unsuitable names, genuine or not, will not be entered onto our leaderboard. If you
have a genuine name that unfortunately is not accepted by the leaderboard please
contact us through feedback and we will try to accommodate your details in an acceptable
manner.
Due to the nature of the Internet it is possible for players to reach the top of
the leaderboard by default. This could be for any number of reasons. We run a thorough
audit program which will track any such entries. We reserve the right to deny any
entries gained unfairly by whichever means. At all times the management decision
is final. Entries denied top spot on the leaderboard due to any such event will
still be entered into the prize draw.
TIMER
The timer on our site works on the following principle: when you click the answer,
the timer logs the millisecond you are currently using.
PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to maintaining your privacy. We do ask for personal data on entering
a competition and may collect other personal data from adult players during competitions
along the way. We will not share this data with any third party without your permission.
We respect our members data. We will only use it to send prizes, free samples, and
information directly related to competitions that you play - and to draw your attention
to new competitions or offers that may interest you. That is, of course, if you
agree for us to do so.
We comply with the standards, procedures and requirements laid down by the UK Data
Protection Act 1998, to ensure that the personal information you give us is kept
secure and processed fairly and lawfully. No personal information is publicly accessible.
Should we make changes to this policy, we will immediately notify you by updating
this statement on this web site.
